    Golem Valise II

Analogue photographs are born in the dark room. Golem Valise II considers this birth, the moment a moment is born within an image. One large piece of flattened porcelain was cut up, some sections depicting complete rectangular photos, others more organic and incomplete. Once fired it was then assembled within an old suitcase lid.
I remember developing reels of film as a youngster, getting back prints with stickers on them, placed there by the lab technicians, advising me that they lacked light or there was too much and so on. This series is cetainly inspired by those under-exposed or over-exposed moments that may hide valuable information or on the contrary, enhance them.
