An eclectic range of source material ranging from Man Ray to Edward Weston to anonymous photographers. Since the outset, my work on porcelain relies on supports (plinths etc.) and the contextual environments I place them within. Juxtaposing these fossilised images with various objects and supports enables them to inhabit a new home, much like fossils found in sediment and strata where an ancient trace never hovers in a vacuum.
